Q&G Premium Products is run by an entrepreneurial couple, both of whom are totally blind. Despite this, they see the world as a place of great opportunity for those willing to work hard. Chris also works to assist the blind of San Francisco, the State of California and the United States through public advocacy and organizing support for those who are newly blind.

He recently was awarded the prestigious James R. Olson Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Council of the Blind. Also, he owns Bay Area Digital, a company that created the first ever talking asthma monitor and the first talking oximeter. In part through a grant from the National Science Foundation, he also designed a talking module for the Freestyle line of blood glucose meters from Abbott Diabetes Care.

Marvelena works as a Spanish-language interpreter. She specializes and is certified in medical interpretting. She works both via phone and in person at local Bay area hospitals.
